 A
prime example of our capabilities involved a multi-million
dollar contract with the US Army Tank Automotive Command
(TACOM), located in Warren, Michigan.
This contract involved the preparation of
kits used in conjunction with the conversion
of the M992 Field Artillery Ammunitions Support Vehicle
(FAASV).
Each
FAASV conversion kit contained more than 500 unique
components and parts in various quantities. Components
ranged from radiators, alternators, and electrical
control boxes, to a substantial number of parts such
as nuts, washers and screws.
Many
other parts were also required which were either
manufactured by JGB Enterprises, Inc. or sourced
including items such as latch handles, gaskets, heater
ducts, chain assemblies, shims, clamps, valves, lead
assemblies, wire rope assemblies, filters, tube assemblies,
brackets, reinforcement plates, floor mats, exhaust
tubes, cooling fans and relays.
