The US Army Troop Support Command contracted
with JGB Enterprises, Inc. to produce approximately
300 Forward Area Water Point Supply Systems (FAWPSS).
These systems involved the sourcing and manufacture
of specialized assembly components and parts configured
to US Army specifications for use by forward
area Army personnel.
JGB's contract called for the production, component
sourcing, parts design and manufacture, assembly, in-process
government inspection, test, source inspection, and
packaging for delivery on a schedule of 25 systems
per month for the first years release.
Contract technical
requirements, cost and delivery challenges, which
involved more than 300 systems, was successfully
completed.
